HeatWatch® Connect

Higher yield. Lower costs.

Digitize and optimize energy central plants and heating networks

HeatWatch® Connect is intelligent monitoring software that has been specially developed for monitoring heating networks and decentralized heating stations. The target groups are heating network operators, energy contractors, maintenance companies, and energy supply companies who want to increase energy efficiency in their supply area or maximize it as part of municipal heating planning.

The monitoring tool for efficient district heating

With HeatWatch® Connect, you can keep an eye on the entire infrastructure of your district heating network - from the heat station to the heat distribution networks to the heat transfer station.
Whether solar collectors, heat pumps, or CHP - the platform records all consumption, measurement, and control data relevant for control and monitoring and analyzes it fully automatically using intelligent algorithms.

Through data analysis and pattern recognition, heat supply and heat consumption can be coordinated and optimized according to a variety of criteria. Analyzing live data enables early detection of potential faults in the heat distribution. This enables the transition to condition-orientated and predictive maintenance.

Operating and maintenance costs can be demonstrably reduced with mondas® HeatWatch, and personnel costs for fault detection are significantly reduced. At the same time, energy consumption is minimized for the same energy service - and thus also CO2 emissions. Overall, the ecological footprint is significantly reduced.

Commissioning of new district heating networks

HeatWatch® Connect proves to be a very helpful monitoring tool not only for existing heating networks, but also for the construction of new ones. With an early data connection of the installed energy technologies, installation errors and malfunctions can be recognized and eliminated during the construction phase. This significantly shortens the commissioning phase.

HeatWatch® Connect provides an excellent overview of all energy flows and operating states in the district heating network.

Features

  • Automated real-time monitoring of all heating systems in the portfolio

  • Return flow temperature monitoring in the network

  • Data from all systems and network locations in one platform

  • Energy management analyses in accordance with the requirements of the EnEffG

  • Automatic detection of heat losses

  • Evaluations in accordance with the requirements of the Energy Efficiency Act EnEffG

  • Automatic detection of heat losses

  • Realisation of load management

  • Integration of heat meter data in the grid

  • Configurable error reporting

Monitoring of heat stations

Decentralized heat stations can also be monitored with HeatWatch®, saving time and money. This benefits, for example, housing associations with spatially distributed rental apartment buildings as well as commercial enterprises with widely distributed branches, subsidiaries or factory buildings that want to centrally monitor the energy standard of their heating systems.

The advantage: HeatWatch® Connect is compatible with existing databases and software solutions. Existing infrastructures can be easily integrated. Data from various sources can be collected and processed. If new systems are added, they can be quickly and easily connected to the analysis platform.
