Detect Faults in Operation Promptly
With the help of mathematical methods, faults in the operation of technical building equipment and energy plants can be detected promptly. The focus here is on pattern recognition with AI algorithms. These can analyze even extensive databases with great precision and at breathtaking speed.
Previously defined deviations of the plant signals from the mean are detected as errors. Service personnel are notified immediately via an internal alarm system.
The mondas® Analytic software is characterized by a particularly fast evaluation of time series data. Temperature values, starts, oil pressure and many more are recorded and interpreted over time. Their interdependence can thus be observed and evaluated.
Mondas® is working in close cooperation with the Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy Systems ISE to develop the data processing algorithms. The algorithms are based on expert knowledge, machine learning methods, decision trees or a combination of these methods. Model- and rule-based methods are used for this purpose.

Fault Detection at the Highest Level
Mondas® IoT software takes automatic fault detection to a new level. Also due to the high-performance HDF5 data format, assembly and operating faults are reliably detected and identified even in highly complex buildings. In the building sector, this is particularly important in the commissioning phase, when all the components of the supply technology are adjusted. Deviations from normal operation are detected early by mondas® Analytic software and can be corrected in a short time.
As a result, more and more building and facility operators are turning to IoT monitoring of their assets. In the past, a lot of time was wasted on manually searching for operational errors. Today, faulty components and plant components are identified automatically.
Gone are the days when measurement results had to be sorted by hand, figures compared and Excel data closely examined by experts. These tasks can be completed easily and many times faster with AI-based algorithms.
