Extensive Algorithms Library
An important feature is the comprehensive and extensible algorithm library included in the tool. It was designed specifically for time series data analysis. Temporal progressions and dependencies, detection of events or seasonal phenomena can be easily displayed and analyzed. The special metadata system enables a high degree of automation and scalability. Especially when very large plant inventories have to be monitored, for example by contractors, manufacturers or maintenance companies, this offers great advantages.
With the mondas® IoT web platform, it becomes possible to evaluate operating data of many and spatially widely distributed plants systematically and highly automated. Malfunctions or critical operating states are detected immediately. The platform can be used for a variety of tasks. These include energy and plant monitoring, commissioning monitoring and predictive maintenance.

The mondas® IoT platform “understands” over 30 different fieldbuses and protocols, making it practically universal.
The HDF5 data format used as the database is highly performant; even with extremely large data volumes, the IoT platform works orders of magnitude faster than SQL databases, for example. Complex data structures can be processed and analyzed efficiently. At the same time, visualization and controlling are possible on a simple customer computer in the browser with low hardware requirements, while users benefit from clear and individually designable user interfaces. The application is possible in the cloud or on-premise.
